【オリーブを、植えたいんですが。】

二メートルもある、サルスベリを思い切って切り、抜きました。
蟻に食されてましたので。
がらんと開いてしまったので、ハーブが好きなのでオリーブでも植えようかと、思ってます。植えたことのある方いますか？虫がつきにくい木がいいのですが、他にお勧めありますか？

サルスベリは花期も長く、綺麗ですが・・・
色違いもあります。うどん粉病が多いですが。
