【おおばゆりについて】

おおばゆりは一度咲いたら枯れてしまうとの事ですが、その花目を切り取って枯らさないようにする方法はあるのでしょうか？

一度咲いたら枯れてしまうのですか？
花の咲く頃に葉が無くなるようですがまた来年新しい葉が出てくるのではないのでしょうか？
